This book is intended to outline for the beginner the ramifications of the science of 'Cybernetics'. It is a science concerned with all matters of control and communication, and tothis extent trespasses across what we have come to think of as the established sciences. The book covers both the pure theory of Cybernetics - mathematical, statistical and logical - and its application, which affects everything human beings do, especially how they learn, how they make decisions, how they plan and how they solve problems, in such fields as Engineering, Management and Education.
