#DRCL Midnight Children 02 by Shin'ichi Sakamoto is the second volume in a manga series that reimagines Bram Stoker's Dracula in 19th-century Britain. It follows a diverse group of young protagonists—including Mina Murray and her classmates—as they confront the terrifying and supernatural threat of Dracula, who is portrayed with ethereal and disturbing qualities such as hallucinations and transmogrification. The volume explores Dracula's origins tied to the Son of dragon meaning, along with unique visual storytelling techniques that evoke horror through suspense and atmosphere rather than explicit violence. The story blurs reality and fiction while deepening the ominous influence of Dracula within Whitby School, intertwining themes of identity and fear in a beautifully surreal and chilling narrative.
