Set in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, this original screenplay continues the story begun in *Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them*. Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald has escaped custody and is gathering followers to his cause, seeking wizarding dominance over non-magical people. Albus Dumbledore enlists magizoologist Newt Scamander to help thwart Grindelwald’s growing influence, drawing Newt and his friends into a web of shifting loyalties and dangerous secrets that spans from London to Paris.
Presented in screenplay format, the book offers readers a close look at the dialogue, stage direction, and dramatic structure behind the film. Themes of identity, allegiance, and moral choice run throughout, deepening the mythology of the Wizarding World. Fans of the Harry Potter series and readers interested in Rowling’s expansion of her magical universe will find much to enjoy in this behind-the-scenes literary experience.
