This is a marvelous, graphic view of the magnificent, challenging Canadian wilderness. What a life changing adventure David and his companions had! The book is well written, framed in the exuberant life and tragic death of a young adventurer who was most comfortable in his skin when the stakes for survival were highest. A wonderful glimpse into the marvels of creation, impact of relationships of disparate people, and the driven personality.
