Rare Pictures of the Great Wall is a presentation of typical parts of the world famous relic of history. The Wall, which remains some 5,000 kilometers long, has attractive, well-preserved sections frequented by tourists from all parts of the world. But it contains many more sections located in precipitous mountains or along dangerous marshes which have never been seen by people in modern time, including the Chinese. The photographers braved difficult terrain and ventured into the no man's land in China's frontier so as to take the pictures.
