In this second volume of the provocative superhero satire, the vigilante team known as “The Boys” continues its ruthless mission to keep corrupt superheroes in check. Set in a world where superpowered celebrities are as dangerous as they are adored, the story follows Billy Butcher and his crew as they dig deeper into the murky alliances between corporate interests, government power, and reckless “heroes.” As tensions escalate, the narrative explores the origins and motivations of key team members, adding emotional weight to the series’ dark humor and graphic intensity.
Written by Garth Ennis, known for his sharp, uncompromising work on *Preacher* and *Hellblazer*, this volume blends brutal action with biting social commentary. It will appeal to readers who enjoy deconstructive takes on the superhero genre, morally complex characters, and stories that challenge the myth of heroic infallibility.
