The Complete Poems by John Keats compiles the full body of work from the renowned English Romantic poet John Keats (1795–1821), renowned for its lush imagery, sensuous language, and deep exploration of beauty, love, mortality, and the imagination. This definitive edition, often edited by scholars like John Barnard, arranges all known poems chronologically from his early sonnets and odes—such as Ode to a Nightingale, Ode on a Grecian Urn, and To Autumn—to narrative masterpieces like The Eve of St. Agnes and Lamia, capturing his evolution amid personal struggles including illness and unrequited love. Keats's verse blends classical influences with vivid natural descriptions and philosophical depth, celebrating fleeting joys while confronting human transience, making it a cornerstone of Romantic literature.
