The Poems of Dylan Thomas, edited and introduced by Daniel Jones, presents a comprehensive collection of the Welsh poet's works spanning from 1933 to 1953, including the 90 poems from his 1952 Collected Poems plus over 100 additional finished and juvenile pieces arranged chronologically. Daniel Jones, Thomas's lifelong friend and fellow poet, provides an insightful introduction and notes that contextualize the raw, direct language, humor, and emotional depth characterizing Thomas's vivid imagery of life's joys and sorrows. First published by New Directions in 1971, later editions enhance this with vintage recordings of Thomas reading his works in his iconic Welsh style.
