The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black is the finale of the Folk of Air trilogy. It follows Jude Duarte, who, after being proclaimed Queen of Faerie and then abruptly exiled by the Wicked King Cardan, finds herself powerless and unmoored in the mortal world. When her twin sister Taryn needs help, Jude returns to the treacherous Faerie court, where war brews and a dark curse threatens the whole realm. Jude must navigate political intrigue, magic, and complex relationships to reclaim her power and save the Faerie world, balancing ambition and humanity in the process. The book is praised for its sharp prose, dynamic plot, and emotionally rich characters, especially Jude, who is both ruthless and vulnerable.
