Finders Keepers by Stephen King is a gripping crime thriller and the second installment in the Bill Hodges Trilogy. The story begins in 1978 when Morris Bellamy murders reclusive author John Rothstein, stealing a cache of cash and unpublished notebooks featuring the iconic Jimmy Gold character, driven by his obsession with the writer's work. Decades later, teenager Pete Saubers uncovers the hidden trunk, using the money to aid his struggling family while hiding the manuscripts, only to draw threats from a shady rare book dealer and the now-paroled Morris. As tensions escalate into a deadly confrontation, retired detective Bill Hodges races to intervene, weaving themes of obsession, greed, and literary legacy into a tense cat-and-mouse chase.
