Set in Victorian England, this yuri drama follows Hanako, a young Japanese noblewoman who travels abroad in search of a “beautiful” way to die. Instead, she finds employment as a maid to the enigmatic Lady Alice Douglas, an aristocrat burdened by her own despair. When Alice makes a shocking request of her new servant, the two women begin a deeply intimate and complicated relationship that challenges their views on love, duty, and self-worth.
Created by manga artist Dr. Pepperco, this series blends historical atmosphere with emotionally charged storytelling. With themes of depression, social constraint, and forbidden romance, it offers a poignant exploration of healing and connection in a society bound by rigid expectations.
