The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a poetic novella that follows a young prince from a tiny asteroid who travels across planets, encountering eccentric adults like a king, a vain man, a drunkard, and a businessman, whose absurd pursuits highlight the follies of grown-up life. On Earth, he befriends a fox who teaches him that what is essential is invisible to the eye and that taming creates unique bonds, prompting reflection on his vain rose back home, which he now cherishes despite her flaws. The story, framed by a pilot stranded in the Sahara who meets the prince, blends whimsical adventure with profound insights on love, loss, and seeing beyond appearances.
