Lexicon abbreviaturarum. Dizionario di abbreviature latine ed italiane usate nelle carte e codici specialmente nel Medio Evo, riprodotte con oltre 14000 segni incisi. Con l’aggiunta di uno studio sulla brachigrafia medioevale, un prontuario di Sigle Epigrafiche, l’antica numerazione romana ed arabica e i segni indicanti monete, pesi, misure, etc. Opera dell’archivista modenese Adriano Cappelli (1859-1942), il Dizionario, pubblicato in prima edizione nel 1899, e uno strumento essenziale per chiunque si cimenti con la lettura e la trascrizione di testi e documenti medievali o di prima eta moderna, in latino o volgare italiano, nei quali molto utilizzato e il sistema abbreviativo. Il Dizionario e utile pure per l’interpretazione delle abbreviazioni epigrafiche del mondo romano e medievale. Considerata la complessita del sistema abbreviativo medievale, il Dizionario non puo pero sciogliere esaustivamente tutte le abbreviazioni nelle quali ci si puo imbattere nel corso della lettura di un documento antico. Oltre al Dizionario, Cappelli ha curato un altro strumento indispensabile per l’interpretazione dei documenti di ogni epoca: La Cronologia, cronografia e calendario perpetuo; questo manuale consente infatti di attribuire la data a documenti dall’eta cristiana all’epoca contemporanea. Pater was shocked at the reaction his book inspired: ‘I wish they would not call me a hedonist, it gives such a wrong impression to those who do not know Greek.’. The book had begun as a series of idiosyncratic, impressionistic critical essays on those artists that embodied for him the spirit of the Renaissance; by collecting them and adding his infamous Conclusion, Pater gained a reputation as a daring modern philosopher. Vjeko Matić (Imotski,17. rujna 1960. – Zagreb, 15. prosinca 2014.). Diplomirao je 1986. grafiku na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu u klasi prof. Alberta Kinerta i prof. Frane Para. Godine 2014. na Akademiji je doktorirao s radovima izvedenim u tehnici kompjutorske 3 D grafike (mentor: prof. Frane Paro). Bavio se grafikom, slikarstvom, kiparstvom, kompjutorskom grafikom, animacijom, dizajnom, fotografijom, glazbom i scenografijom. Bio je član SZUH -a, HDLU-a, i pridruženi član HDS-a.
