Il volume (formato 13 x 20 cm) tratta esclusivamente dei marchi di fabbrica delle porcellane, classificati secondo cio che essi rappresentano, siano essi oggetti, parole o lettere. Accanto alle riproduzione dei marchi, una nota indica il luogo in cui l’oggetto e stato prodotto, il nome del fabbricante, il periodo in cui il marchio fu usato e la tecnica in cui fu stampato. L’autore si e valso della lunga esperienza acquisita come curatore della collezione di porcellane del Museo delle Arti e dei mestieri di Praga.

Publikacija opsega 206 stranica, koju je grafički oblikovao Igor Kuduz, bogato je ilustrirana reprodukcijama svih sto i pedeset likovnih djela i preko pedeset knjiga i časopisa izlaganih na izložbi. Sadrži stručne tekstove na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku, a autori su im: Jadranka Vinterhalter (uvodni tekst), Daina Glavočić (avangardne pojave u Rijeci), Vlastimir Kusik, (primjeri avangarde u Osijeku), Ivana Kancir (nadrealistički opus Josipa Seissela), Jasna Jakšić ( publikacije Ljubomira Micića i anotirana bibliografiju publikacija iz Rare – Zbirke rijetkih i starih izdanja knjižnice MSU), te Darko Šimičić koji je napisao opširnu kronologiju, kataloške podatke i bibliografiju. Katalog izložbe “Prodori avangarde u hrvatskoj umjetnosti prve polovice 20. stoljeća” u izdanju Muzeja suvremene umjetnosti, Zagreb, dobio je priznanje Certificate of Typographic Excellence koje dodjeljuje Type Directors Club u New Yorku.Udruženje Type Directors Club prati i promovira recentne projekte vizualnih komunikacija i tipografskog oblikovanja. Tako je i publikacija MSU-a uvrštena na prestižnu međunarodnu izložbu grafičkog dizajna u organizaciji tog udruženja.
