Vol’jin: Shadows of the Horde by Michael Stackpole is a World of Warcraft novel that follows Vol’jin, the courageous leader of the Darkspear troll tribe, as he faces his greatest trial yet on the legendary continent of Pandaria. After being nearly killed by assassins loyal to Warchief Garrosh, Vol’jin is taken to a remote mountain monastery to recover, where he struggles to overcome old hatreds and learns the ways of the Pandaren people.
